Skills currency

An essential aspect of CPD is ‘skills currency,’ which represents a person’s competence and knowledge, and their capacity to contribute effectively to their organization and industry. In essence, your skills are your bargaining power, your ticket to career advancement, and your means of securing opportunities.

It is therefore vital that, as a professional Facilitator, you maintain currency by continuing to work in your areas of expertise and through membership of relevant professional associations. AIBEF members complete a professional development plan on an annual basis and maintain industry currency through ongoing study and training, as well as membership of relevant professional bodies.  

The AIBEF also provides a wide and diverse range of short courses for our members and other professionals and are available on line for the purpose of ongoing skills currency. Below is a sample of just a few of these short courses:
