“Dennis Chiron’s professional objective is to maintain a professional standard of employment through self discipline, constructing a team environment, presenting dedication and seamless organization, and continually strive to improve and learn and excel.

Dennis’s past Business experience includes a pivotal role in the establishment of two international franchises in Australia, managing a medium sized Sydney-based advertising company, and two National Marketing Manager appointments. Dennis was also a prime-mover in starting up “”PixiFoto”” in Australia. In 1985 Dennis started up the first comprehensive Business Enterprise Centre in Australia, the Hunter Region Enterprise Agency, and the second Small Business Incubator in 1986.

At their peak, there were over 150 BEC’s and 50 SBI’s throughout Australia and New Zealand. (For more information, please visit http://www.businessesenterprise.org.au) He was a consultant to the Federal Government in Local Employment Initiatives and Economic Development Initiatives, and assisted in establishing the Workplace Resource Centres throughout Australia (now known as the Centres for Best Practices), which assisted major Australian companies in the Award and Industry Restructuring Process. 1994-2011: Dennis started up the Caboolture Business Enterprise Centre (CBEC) – and renamed it the Moreton Bay Regional Business Enterprise Centre in 2007 prior to the council amalgamating – and he was CEO of CBEC, a position he held for 18 years. Dennis resigned from this position in November 2011.

In October 2002, CBEC achieved two National Awards: 2002’s “”Regional Incubator of the Year”” by the Australian and New Zealand Association of Business Incubators (ANZABI) and AusIndustry, and also the 2002 Innovation of the Year Award for it’s Community Time & Resource Bank concept. (For more information, please visit http://www.businessesenterprise.org.au) Dennis held the position of National Board Member on BECA for the past 5 years, and was BECA Treasurer for two of those years. He was also on the National Board of ANZABI (Australia and New Zealand Association of Business Incubators). He was also Vice President of SEAANZ (Small Enterprise, Australia & New Zealand for 2 years. Dennis is an accomplished author in many publications and journals, and also is the editor and journalist for a regional small business publication “”BIZNEZ””, and an e-magazine entitled “”Let’s Talk Business”” which is distributed to over 4,000 local and national businesses on a monthly basis. He is a guest speaker on many business subjects – particularly Marketing – and many issues affecting small business. He is also an accomplished Presenter, and has been the keynote speaker at many Government and Business Conventions at both national and international levels.
